Delete your ELEC account

This page explains how to request deletion of your ELEC account and the personal data associated with it, what data is removed, what we are required to keep, and for how long. This applies to the ELEC rider app published by Joe-Tech kft. .

How to request account deletion

You can delete your account directly inside the ELEC app in a few taps:

1. Open the ELEC app and sign in to your account.
2. Go to the Profile tab (bottom-right menu).
3. Tap Settings , then scroll to Account .
4. Tap Delete account .
5. Confirm your choice when prompted. Your account and associated personal data are then scheduled for permanent deletion.

Prefer email? If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request from the email address linked to your account to balazs@ninor.com with the subject line “Delete my ELEC account.” We verify ownership of the account before processing and complete verified requests within 30 days .

What data is deleted

Once your request is verified, the following data is permanently deleted :

Data type	When it is removed
Profile information (name, phone number, email, profile photo)	Within 30 days of the request
Saved favourite drivers and favourite locations	Within 30 days of the request
Ratings, comments and in-app preferences	Within 30 days of the request
Device identifiers, push tokens and app usage data	Within 30 days of the request
Approximate and precise location data tied to your account	Within 30 days of the request

What data is retained, and for how long

Some records must be kept for a limited time to meet legal, tax, security and fraud-prevention obligations. Where retained, this data is stored securely and, where possible, anonymised or de-identified so it is no longer linked to you.

Trip and payment records (fare, distance, tariff, payment method, invoices)	Tax, accounting and legal requirements	Up to 7 years
Records related to disputes, safety incidents or fraud	Legal claims and safety obligations	Until the matter is resolved, then deleted
Anonymised, aggregated analytics (no longer identifies you)	Service improvement and reporting	Retained indefinitely in anonymised form

Backups: residual copies of your data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion, after which they are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.

Please note: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose access to your ride history, receipts, saved drivers and saved locations. To use ELEC again afterwards, you will need to create a new account.
